- The purchase of goods in the on-line store means the automatic conclusion of the contract between seller and buyer. Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likums, 10.pants.
- The buyer may cancel the contract during the specified period of time without providing any explanation. Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likums, 12.1. pants.
- In case of a decision to cancel the contract, the buyer informs the seller of cancelling the contract in written form. The deadline is met, if the buyer sent the cancellation form before end of the term, according to Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likums, 12.2. pants
- The seller may provide the buyer an ability to fill an electronic form to cancel the contract. In this case the seller has to immediately confirm the recieval of the form by informing the buyer, according to Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likums, 12.3. pants
- The buyer gives or sends the goods back to the seller without delay, not later than 14 days after sending the cancellation form. The deadline is met, if the goods are sent back during 14 days, according to Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likums, 12.5. pants
- The seller returns the paid sum to the buyer without delay during 14 days, including the delivery cost, according to Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likums, 12.6. pants
- The seller returns to the buyer the paid sum in the same way as the buyer used, unless the buyer explicitly agreed to recieve the payment in another way, according to Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likums, 12.6. pants
- The buyer has the right to delay the returning of the paid sum until the goods are returned, according to Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likums, 12.8. pants
- Direct expenses of returning the goods is paid by the buyer, unless the seller takes the responsibility to return the delivery cost to the buyer or the seller has not informed the buyer that the expenses are paid by the buyer, according to Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likums, 12.9. pants
- The seller has no obligation to return the delivery cost to the buyer, if the buyer's chosen method is different from the offered standard and the cheapest method, according to Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likums, 12.7. pants
- The buyer is responsible for any sort of decrease in value of the goods, including situations when the goods was not used for its original purpose, according to Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likums, 12.11. pants.
- The buyer may not use the cancellation right, if the packaging of the goods was opened and due to hygienic and health regulations may not be returned to the seller, according to Ministru kabineta noteikumi Nr.255, 22.5. pants.
